Dedrick Brown

Dedrick G. Brown was born on November 30, 1958. He and his surviving wife, Gwen Brown were united in holy matrimony on July 11, 2012 in Mansfield, Texas.
Dedrick was a Professional Certified Painter. He was a fan of the Dallas Cowboys football team, Los Angeles Lakers basketball team, and the St. Louis Cardinals baseball team. Some of his favorite things to do were to eat peanuts, watch western movies, be a practical joker, and making people laugh.
Dedrick became a Licensed Minister at Assembly of God International in May 2002. He was member of Ark of Safety Christian Church under the leadership of Pastor Raymond D. Horry, where he served as a Counselor and Minister. since 2010, he has been a member of the Potters House under the leadership of Bishop T.D. Jakes, where he continued his ministry as part of the Acts II evangelistic team and the Prison Ministry.
He loved to worship God and was a strong prayer warrior. He could usher the presence of God into any place that he prayed. He loved to be a witness of the Lord, reaching other people. His heart's desire was to do all that God called him to do, and to see his loved ones saved.
Dedrick departed this life on May 14, 2013,
He is survived: by his loving and devoted wife, Gwen Brown; mother, Clementine Brown; sisters, Gina Brown and Denise Brown; two children, Cortez Harris (Chantey) and Quiana Brown; stepchildren, Gina Phillips (Zach) and Steven Moses; Eight grandchildren; and a host of other close friends and relatives.
