Dale grew up in Bedford TX. He was a graduate of L.D. Bell High School in Hurst TX, and attended Dallas Baptist University. He had a lifelong career in the electrical field beginning with serving in the Navy for six years, earning a rank of EM3 (Electrician’s Mate Petty Officer 3rd Class). He served on aircraft carriers deployed in the Mediterranean Sea. After his time in the Navy, Dale had a fulfilling career of thirty-six years at Lockheed Martin Fire and Missile Control in Grand Prairie TX where his most recent position was as a Multi-functional Inspection Supervisor. At LMCO he also served as the MFC Dallas Mil Vet Chapter Lead. Dale was also a former member of Men for Mansfield.

Dale had a life long love of racing; from NASCAR to Sprint cars to a Flat-track motorcycle racer in the early 80’s. His entire life Dale loved going to the races, chatting with the drivers, helping the pit crews, and forming life-long friendships. He was a life long resident of Texas and the Dallas-Fort Worth area and took great pride in being sure everyone knew it. Dale was very patriotic and had a great love for his country. He had a strong faith in God and his home church for over twenty-five years was Walnut Ridge Baptist Church in Mansfield where he sung in the choir and kept them laughing. Dale had a very musical family background and enjoyed playing the guitar as well as singing. He had a one-of-a-kind personality and sense of humor and never did he meet a stranger. His network of close friends stretched from coast to coast. Many lives touched his and he touched many lives. God may have wanted a good Christian man that could make people laugh, and he chose Dale. Our loss is heaven’s gain.

Words of Appreciation:
The outpouring of love has been tremendous and the family is truly grateful. The literal thousands of people that had prayed for Dale helped give the family strength. May God bless each and every one of you forever.
The Brooks Family

Colossians 3: 1 - 4
Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. 2 Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. 3 For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God. 4 When Christ, who is your[a] life, appears, then you also will appear with him in glory.
