Belinda "Sis" Raney

Dec 30, 1955 — Nov 3, 2026

Belinda “Sis” Raney, 70, was born on December 30, 1955, in Gorman, Texas. She passed away peacefully on November 3, 2026, leaving behind a family whose lives will forever be shaped by the love, memories, and connections they shared with her.

If there was one thing that defined Belinda’s life, it was her love for her family. Her family was her focus, her greatest joy, and her most treasured blessing. She may not have measured her wealth in money or possessions, but she was rich beyond measure in the love she gave and the love she received. Her greatest treasures were the people she loved, the family she built, and the memories they made together.

Belinda had a special love for holidays, especially Christmas. She loved the decorations, the Christmas trees, the traditions, and most of all, the joy of having family together. Those moments were never just about the celebrations; they were about togetherness, making memories, and surrounding the people she loved with warmth. The traditions she cherished will continue through her children and grandchildren for generations to come.

Belinda was preceded in death by her beloved husband, William Carl Raney; her parents, Harry and Janie Warren; and her brother, Ray Warren.

She is survived by her sister, Theresa Freeze; her brother, Randy Warren, and his wife, Laurie Warren; and her loving children: daughter Amber Anderson and her husband, Cory Anderson; son Byron Raney and his wife, Brittanni Raney; and daughter Stacy Rhodes and her husband, Jerried Rhodes.

Her legacy continues through her seven grandchildren, who will carry her memory with them: Alexis Anderson, Kenadee Raney, Bailee Rhodes, Brinlee Raney, Brock Rhodes, Beau Rhodes, and Liam Raney.

Though her final journey was not an easy one, cancer only took her earthly body; it could never take her soul, her spirit, or the love she carried for her family. Her passing was peaceful, and her family finds comfort in knowing that her suffering has ended. While they grieve the absence of her physical presence, they hold onto the promise of eternal life and the peace that comes from knowing she is home with the Lord.

Her life is a reminder that the greatest wealth we can leave behind is love. Belinda leaves behind a family who will carry her stories, traditions, laughter, and love into the years ahead. Every Christmas tree decorated, every holiday gathered, and every family memory shared will be another way her legacy lives on.

Though saying goodbye is never easy, the love Belinda gave so freely will continue to live on through the people she cared for. She will be deeply missed, forever loved, and always remembered.

“Don’t Cry for me for now I am free.”
