Richard Earl Bartells Jr., of Granbury, Texas, passed away on Saturday, February 18, 2023 at the age of 49.
Memorial Service: 4:00pm Thursday, February 23, 2023 at Skyvue Funeral Home.
Richard was born on November 27, 1973 in Arlington, Texas to Richard Earl Bartells Sr. and Maryann Burdick Bartells.
He was a proud iron worker and owned his own business. In his free time, Richard enjoyed family time, especially with his son. He loved to fish, hunt and drinking a cold Dos Equis. He will be deeply missed by everyone who knew and loved him.
Richard is preceded in death by his mother, father, two sisters and his nephew.
He is survived by his son, Tren Shefler; sister, Sam Hendrixson and husband Mike; brothers, Michael Bartells and wife Sandy, Donald Burdick; nieces, Brandis Daniel, Kendall Busholtz, Brittany Duffell, Meagen Duffell; nephews, Shannon Burdick, Aaron Bartells; aunt Marge, Cousin April; and numerous other extended family members and loving friends.
