Barbara Jean Price, a cherished figure known for her compassionate heart and nurturing spirit, took her final breath on December 22, 2025, at the age of 59. Born on December 15, 1966, in Fort Worth, Texas, Barbara's journey began in the warm embrace of a loving family where she nurtured her dreams and ambitions.

For many years, Barbara dedicated herself to her rewarding career as a Certified Nurse Aide, a role that allowed her to touch the lives of countless individuals with her gentle care and unwavering support. Her passion for helping others was a hallmark of her character, resonating deeply with all who were fortunate to encounter her warmth.

Barbara's roots were firmly planted at O.D. Wyatt High School, where she not only received her education but also began to cultivate her love for learning and personal growth. This thirst for knowledge remained with her throughout life, evident in her many hobbies and interests. She took great delight in the art of crochet, weaving together threads into beautiful creations that mirrored her kaleidoscopic personality. Fishing was another of her cherished pastimes, where she would find solace surrounded by nature's beauty, the whispers of the water serenading her spirit. Her afternoons often found her lost in the unfolding dramas of her favorite soap operas, a window to worlds where stories spun much like her own.

To Barbara, family was both her sanctuary and her greatest joy. She is survived by her devoted husband, Weldon Price, who stood beside her through thick and thin, and her beloved children who were her source of pride and inspiration: daughter Amber Price and sons Dewayne Price, and Gusty Price. Dewayne shared his life with his wife, Kayla, adding a sweet layer of joy to the family tapestry. Barbara's sisters, Shirley Fenn and Laverne McClendon, along with brothers-in-law Wayland Price Jr. and Wesley Price, graciously filled her life with love and laughter. Her grandchildren, Jadon, Jakob, Destiny, Breanna, and Cheyenne, were the twinkles in her eyes, embodying her legacy of love. Niece Crystal Foster and her husband, John, as well as in-laws Wayland and Pat Price, held a special place in her heart, with many more family and friends who enriched her life in immeasurable ways.

While she graced this world, Barbara carried within her the memories of those who had passed before her. She was preceded in death by her father, G.L. Dillon, and her mother, Jackie Dillon, who shaped the nurturing essence that defined her existence. Her siblings, sister Brenda Dillon and brother Gary Dillon, were also part of her cherished past, leaving traces of love that lingered in her heart, an indelible mark of familial bonds.
