Barbara Ann Goff

Barbara Ann "Bitch" Doss Goff, age 74, has passed away on May 12, 2024. 

Barbara was born on March 29, 1950, to her parents Jessie Lee Jasper Doss Sr. and Cathleen "Snoodle" Doss in Virgina. She grew up there with her many siblings, Betty "Pete" Enoch, Jessie "Jr." Doss, Roger "Bo" Doss, Linda Kaye Vaughn, Brenda Faye Mann, and Wendy "Sam" Moses.

Nanny adored her numerous dolls, as well as her hefty collection of frogs. You would often find Nanny sitting at the dining room table watching the birds outside her window. If she wasn't there, you were almost guaranteed to find her speeding her way to the casino at four in the morning. Barbara will always be remembered as our Nanny. Regardless of how young or old you were, family or stranger, Nanny had a heart of gold. If anyone needed anything, she would make it happen in a heartbeat. She was the makeshift Nanny to anyone who needed her. Nanny was loved and adored by her many nieces and nephews, along with everyone she met. Her family in Texas, Virginia, and Oregon will always hold her dearly in their hearts.

Barbara is preceded in death by her parents, Jessie Lee Jasper and Cathleen Doss; her siblings, Betty, Jessie Jr., Roger, Brenda, and Linda.

Barbara is survived by her husband, Edward "Link" Goff; her five children, Renay and Brian Hoyt, Eddie Goff, Shannon Goff Bailey and William Bailey, Edmund and Melinda Goff, Charlie and Bobie Goff; her thirteen grandchildren, Courtney, Dave, Kadence, Chris, Dillon, Amber, John, Halle, Brooke, Josh, Joel, Rylie, and James; her numerous great-grandchildren, Brylee, Caylee, Alexander, Gaven, and Karsyn; a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
