Larry Michael Avarello Sr.

Larry M. Avarello Sr., 79, passed on Thursday, April 6, 2023.

Memorial Service: 3pm Friday, April 21, 2023 at Skyvue Victoria Chapel.

Larry was born in Fort Worth, Texas on March 23, 1944, to mother and father, Evelyn Virgina Avarello Bledsoe and J.C. Bledose. He was enrolled in the Navy from 1965-1969 and served abroad U.S.S. Saratoga CVA-60, where he received the National Defense Service Medal during his tour. As he grew into the man he was today, Larry was a former resident of Joshua, Texas and was a loan officer for many years and retired from Chase Bank One. During his down time, he had a special passion for football and his favorite team was the Dallas Cowboys. He had a love for classic car shows, playing card games and dice, sitting back and watching a good action filled movie or old-time western was a nice cozy hobby he had. The Greek festival was a favorite of his but, nothing beat the love and passion he had for spending time with his family.

Larry is preceded by his loving son, Duv Keeling; mother, Evelyn Virgina Bledsoe Avarello; Father J.C. Bledsoe, grandfather, Tony Avarello; grandmother, Willa V. Avarello.

He is survived by his daughter, Nicole and Kevin Gilliland, Tammy and David Harless; sons, Larry Avarello Jr. Destry and Laci Keeling; brother, Gary and Linda Avarello; grandchildren, Mynden Gilliland, Larry Avarello III, Kason Gilliland, Maddox Gilliland, Amber Keeling, Aaron Keeling, Hilary Mercer, Preston Keeling, Shelby Keeling, Bailey Couch, Raighen Porter; 10 great-grandchildren; nephew, Tony Avarello; many special cousins from California; special Navy friends, James Davis, Jerry Simpson and many more loved family and friends near and far.
