Angie J. Walker

Angie J. Walker, born October 20, 1947, passed away on September 25, 2026. She will be remembered with love by all who knew her.

She is survived by her husband, Larry Sam Walker Sr.; her daughter, Sheri Chappell, and Sheri’s spouse, Tim Chappell; and her son, Larry “Sammy” Walker Jr. She is also survived by her sister, Jeanette Pitts.

Angie’s family was a lasting source of joy in her life. She leaves behind her grandchildren Josh and Akira Chappell, Colby and Melanie Chappell, Whitney Walker, and Lauren Nichols Sr. and Jonathan Nichols Sr. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren Jaelyn Robinson, K’Lynn Long, Josiah Nichols, Journee Nichols, Justin Nichols, Jonathan Nichols Jr., Jiyah Nichols, McKenzie Chappell, Shelby Chappell, Kelsey Chappell, Brycen Chappell, and Parker Chappell. She also leaves many nieces and nephews who will remember her with affection.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Ida Lou Tucker; her father, Jack Byrd; her brother, William “Bill” Byrd; and her sisters, Vera Hogan and Nancy Smith.

Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation on October 6, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Skyvue Funeral Home, 7220 Rendon Bloodworth Rd, Mansfield, TX 76063. A funeral service will be held on October 7, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Skyvue Funeral Home, followed by burial from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Skyvue Memorial Gardens, 7220 Rendon Bloodworth Rd, Mansfield, TX 76063.

Angie’s memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends, and in the generations of loved ones who carry her love forward.
