Bruce will be laid to rest at Evergreen Cemetery in Southgate, Kentucky.

Bruce is most remembered for his faith in the Gospel wanting everyone to hear the Good News of Jesus. His relationship with the Lord began in early adulthood and grew like a wildfire. After working in the business world and then at the University of Cincinnati in the late 60’s and early 70’s, Bruce soon realized that he could best live out his faith by working in Christian education in a business administration role. In 1971, he took his first such job with Grand Rapids Baptist College and Seminary, moving the family from Northern Kentucky to Grand Rapids, MI. He later went on to work for Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, IL, Bryan College in Dayton, TN, and finished his career at John Brown University in Siloam Springs, AR, when he retired in 2005.

Throughout his life, Bruce’s greatest interest was in the study of Biblical Theology; he had a passion for teaching adult Sunday School and would take every opportunity to do so. Bruce had a contagious faith with many, many people being impacted by his teaching and knowledge throughout his life. Bruce believed in service in the local church and did so in various positions within his church homes.

It brought Bruce the greatest joy to see others growing in their knowledge and faith, sharing the Gospel with others. Those that gave up lives of convenience to go to and live out their faith in other parts of the world had a special place in his heart.

Bruce leaves behind a wonderful legacy of helping others grow in their faith; to make disciples. For those touched by his ministries, his desire would be for them to continue his kingdom work.
