Ambress Thrasher, Jr.

Ambress Thrasher, Jr. went to be with the Lord and was reunited with his wife on April 2, 2024, in Arlington, Texas at the age of 84.

Ambress was born April 9, 1939, in Campbell, Missouri to Ambress Thrasher and Myra Duncan Thrasher.  He married Naomi McDaniel Thrasher in Missouri on July 15, 1965.  Ambress worked for Martin Sprocket for 38 years as a machinist.  He was a man of faith and attended South Oaks Baptist Church in their Fielder location. Ambress enjoyed making windmills, going fishing, listening to country music, and taking his wife to Branson, Missouri.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Naomi Thrasher; daughter, Jeannie Weaver; his parents; a brother and three sisters.

Ambress is survived by his daughter, Janet Middleton and her husband Michael of Arlington, Texas; son, Carl Thrasher and his wife Xianhui of Arlington, Texas; sister, Joyce Todd of Campbell, Missouri; 10 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
