Alma M. Dudley, a beloved daughter, mother, great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on April 27, 2026, in Fort Worth, Texas. Born Alma Ford on October 4, 1948, in Mansfield, Texas, she lived a life marked by faith, dedication, and love for her family.

A graduate of Mansfield High School, Alma carried the values instilled in her from an early age throughout her life. She retired from a longstanding career with Baker To Sodexo, where she was respected and admired for her work ethic and commitment. Beyond her professional accomplishments, Alma was a woman of many talents and interests. She took great joy in cooking, baking cakes, and nurturing flowers—activities that brought warmth and beauty to her home and to those around her.

Alma’s faith was a cornerstone of her life. As a devoted member of the Galation Missionary Baptist Church, she found comfort and purpose in her spiritual community, which remained a source of strength through every chapter of her life.

She was preceded in death by her beloved spouse, Henry Lee Dudley, her parents Cleo and McClendon Moody, and her brothers Garland, Willie, Don, Lonnie, Bobby, Danny, and Tommy. Their memories remain a treasured part of her story.

Alma leaves behind a loving family who cherished her deeply. Her daughter Valerie Maloy and spouse Mark and son Marc Tolbert carry forward her legacy of love and resilience. She is fondly remembered by her brothers Dewayne Moody and Michael Moody, as well as her grandchildren and their spouses: Porsha Marino, Johnathon Tolbert, Markeisha Maloy, Cameron Maloy, and La Navion Tolbert. Alma was also a proud and doting great-grandmother to Makaela, Tydaisha, Braylen, Jatavaia, Hayvn, Alexah, Mia, Nylah, Gabriella, Johnathon Jr., Cameron Jr., Jaceion, and Jakhari. In addition, she is mourned by a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends who were blessed by her kindness and spirit.

The family will welcome friends for a viewing on May 15, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Skyvue Funeral Home, located at 7220 Rendon Bloodworth Rd, Mansfield, TX 76063. A funeral service celebrating Alma’s life will be held on May 16, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Galatian Baptist Church, 4140 Burke Rd., Fort Worth, TX 76119, concluding at 12:00 PM.

Alma M. Dudley’s life was a testament to faith, family, and the simple joys that enrich the soul. Her memory will live on through those who knew and loved her, forever cherished in their hearts.
