Albert Joseph Hanson

Albert Joseph Hanson passed away on October 29, 2026, in Waxahachie, Texas, at the age of 70. He was born on September 29, 1956, in Joliet, Illinois.

Albert will be remembered with love by all who knew him. He loved fishing, a simple joy that brought him peace and happiness. His faith was also an important part of his life, and he was connected with New Life Fellowship Church.

Above all, Albert treasured his family. He is survived by his wife, Margaret Hanson, and by his sons Ryan Mackey and his wife Katherine, Chad Hanson and his wife Ashley, and Jacob Hanson and his wife Tylynn. He is also lovingly remembered by his sister, Denise Horner.

Albert’s legacy continues through his grandchildren, Ben, Madison, Abigail, Jackson, Lexi, Xander, Clyde, Calliope, Nicholas, and Jordan, and through his great-grandchild, Ezra. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends whose lives were touched by his presence and memory.

He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Hanson; his mother, Janice Cunningham Uhles; and his son, Matthew Joseph Hanson.

Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation on Friday, November 13, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Skyvue Funeral Home, 7220 Rendon Bloodworth Rd, Mansfield, TX 76063. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 14, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Skyvue Funeral Home, followed by burial at 12:00 PM at Skyvue Memorial Gardens, 7220 Rendon Bloodworth Rd, Mansfield, TX 76063.

Albert Joseph Hanson will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his family, friends, and all who had the blessing of knowing him.
