Calvin Ray Adams

Calvin R. Adams, 80, passed away on Wednesday, January 12, 2022 with a brief battle of Lymphoma cancer.

Visitation Service: Monday, January 17, 2022 from 12:30pm-1pm.
Graveside Service: Monday, January 17, 2022 at 1pm.

Calvin was born in De Leon, Texas on July 6, 1941 to Eldora Idell Adams and J.W. Adams. The Adams family then moved to Odessa, Texas where he was raised. During his school years he attended the Texas School for the Deaf. As he grew into adulthood he moved to Arlington, Texas where he became a member of the postal service team and was with them for 30 years. When he had free time, Calvin loved spending time with his family and friends, collecting coins and bills and was an avid poker player. On behalf of the Adams family they would like donations in lieu of flowers to be made to the Lymphoma Cancer foundation.

He is preceded in death by his mother and father, Eldora and J.W. Adams; sister, Ruby Scott; son, Andy Adams.

Calvin is survived by his loving daughter, Angie and Curtis Gullett; brother, Jerry Adams; grandchildren, Corey Gullett, Cody Gullett and fiancé Tabitha Nichols; a niece, a nephew and many more loved family and friends.
