Obituary

On Wednesday, April 15,2020. Vickie Ann Stone Auberry, loving wife and mother, passed away at age 58.
Vickie was born on September 1, 1961 in Fort Worth, Texas to Patricia Ann and Grady R. Stone. She married Bobby G. Auberry Jr on September 9, 1995 and together they raised their three children Sarah J Hagood and Jeff A and Crystal L Auberry.
Vickie was a beautiful, independent, intelligent woman who exceled in everything she put her efforts into. She was employed the last 24 years with Texas Health Resources and had worked as a Sr. Administrative Assistant for the past 20 years in the corporate offices in Arlington, TX. Vickie loved working at THR and treasured the relationships she developed with her coworkers, many of whom became like family to her. She loved the holidays and birthdays because it gave her an opportunity to coordinate with love and an imagination that she gave of herself to her friends and family. Most important of all, she loved her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and was active in her church and was a spirited volunteer for many years.
Vickie was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Gene and Ruby Pruitt, uncle Gene Pruitt, paternal grandparents Grady and Dottie Stone, aunt Deborah Stone, stepfather Richard Hampton and stepsister Danna Hampton Smith. She leaves behind her husband, Bobby Auberry of Crowley, TX, two daughters Sarah Hagood of Burleson, TX, Crystal and husband Joseph Boyland of Ft Worth, TX, son Jeffrey and wife Nikki Auberry of Ft Worth, TX, she (GiGi) loved and adored four grandchildren Cleopatra, America, Khalil and Brooklyn Boyland. Her mother Patricia Hampton of Crowley, TX, father Grady and wife Mary Stone of Saginaw, TX, brothers Rick and wife Kim Stone of North Richland Hills, TX, Todd Stone of Crowley, TX, stepsister Gay and husband Mark Pirie of McKinney, TX, stepbrothers Billy and wife Terri Hampton of Powder Springs, GA. and Steve and wife Lynn Hampton of Brandon, FL. Vickie always said she was blessed with having the best mother-in-law and sister-in-law along with numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
We will miss her every day but rejoice in the knowledge that she is now without pain and that we will see her again in Heaven along with our Lord, Jesus Christ. On behalf of our family thank you for your prayers and support. Due to current restrictions on public gatherings, it is with regret that we will be postponing her memorial for a later date. Family and friends will be notified of the scheduled date.

My heart was sadden to read about the the loss of Vickie and wanted to give my warmest condolences to the family. To lose someone so well loved can bring such sadness but the God of all comfort tells us at 2 Kings 20:5 He feels our pain. At jw.org we can read in the Bible John 5:28,29 that not only does God care but it will move him to remove all the suffering he sees and gives assurance that you will have her in your life once again. May all the beautiful memories you have give you calm and peace until God’s promises come true. Again so very sorry for your heartache. 💐
